Dr. Heyland participated in a radio interview with reporter, Renee Bernard to discuss the newly formed collaboration between Plan Well Guide and Caregivers4Change, to launch the Declaration of Family Caregiver Rights and Responsibilities which is focused on improving caregivers’ rights and for policy makers and health care professionals to realize they are more than just visitors. The focus is around getting everyone to be informed around the issues facing caregivers and encouraging Canadians to sign a declaration affirming the rights of caregivers, which can be found here.
